Breast cancer is the most common cancer overall worldwide, and in the UK. According to the NHS, about one in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
Professional dancer Amy Dowden on Wednesday (24/5) revealed that she has been diagnosed with the disease. The Strictly Come Dancing star, 32, described it as “another hurdle” in her life and said she saw a doctor after finding a hard lump in her right breast the day before she was due to jet off on honeymoon.
