Tottenham starlet Dane Scarlett joins League One Portsmouth on season-long loan

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dane Scarlett has joined League One side Portsmouth on a season-long loan.

Scarlett is highly-rated by the Lillywhites and he penned a new long-term contract with the north Londoners back in May. The 18-year-old is certainly one for the future and he has now joined Pompey on loan as he looks for some regular first-team experience ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Spurs' statement read: "Dane Scarlett has joined League One side Portsmouth on loan for the 2022/23 season. The Academy striker, 18, made seven appearances for our first team in all competitions last term, taking his tally up to 10 since his debut against Ludogorets in November, 2020.
