Police have launched a murder probe after a man was discovered dead at a house in Mossley on Sunday morning. Officers were called to a concern for the welfare of a man at an address at Riverside, Mossley on July 3.
A man in his late 30s was pronounced dead at the scene at around 10.30am. A large police presence remained at the scene throughout Sunday and late into the evening.
GMP have now confirmed a murder inquiry has been launched as police believe it may have been a targeted attack. Enquiries were carried out throughout the day, with numerous officers in attendance at the scene. An evidence tent was also pictured outside the property in question.
