Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Remo Freuler.
The 30-year-old midfielder joins from Serie A side Atalanta, where he spent six-and-a-half seasons and made 260 appearances. He becomes Forest's 15th signing of the summer following the arrivals of Emmanuel Dennis and Cheikhou Kouyaté on Saturday evening.
Forest have announced Freuler's arrival off the back of a 1-0 home win against West Ham in the Premier League earlier today, the club's first top flight victory since 1999. The mood on Trentside is already jubilant and another signing has added to a successful weekend for the Reds.
