Singer Michael Buble’s sister-in-law has been left injured after being involved a horror car crash in Argentina.
Nutritionist Daniela Lopilato was rushed to hospital after her car was flipped on its roof when another vehicle on the road hit her car from behind, it's been reported.
The mum-of-two had to be freed from her car by firefighters in the suburb of Buenos Aires called Martinez, and has suffered neck and spinal injuries.
It's reported that Danica - who is the big sister of actress Luisana Lopilato - has not yet spoken publicly about her crash, but has allegedly told journalists in Argentina she feels "God gave her a second opportunity".
The news of Danica's crash comes as her sister Luisana prepares to welcome a fourth into the world with husband Michael.
Argentinian journalist Pia Shaw spoke about the crash on TV, and shared dramatic pictures of the incident overnight.
"The images you’re seeing now are terrible and the protagonist is Daniela Lopilato," the journalist reportedly told viewers.
"She was admitted to Los Arcos Hospital in Buenos Aires but is back at home now.
"The car you see on its roof is Daniela’s. This happened in the Martinez area. Another driver hit Daniela’s car from behind. It was a pretty violent collision.
"She hurt her neck and back and couldn’t get out of the car and was really scared. Firefighters were mobilised to assist her."
She went on to add: "The other driver stopped and handed over all their details. I spoke with Daniela a short while ago after she was allowed to leave hospital and she told me she was just waking up to the fact God had given her a second opportunity.
"She feels she’s alive thanks to God. She’s okay but she’s been through a traumatic experience and she’s still shaken up about it."
The Mirror has contacted representatives for Michael for comment.
Michael and wife Luisana got engaged in 2009 and tied the knot in March 2011 in Buenos Aires, following the singer's split from actress Emily Blunt in 2008.
The Canadian-born singer co-wrote one of his biggest hits, Haven't Met You Yet, while he was dating his now-wife and the actress appeared in the music video for his single.
The happy couple share children Noah, nine, Elias, six, and Vida, four, together, and are expecting another daughter in coming weeks, after they announced Danica's pregnancy in February this year.
Last year, Michael opened up about how he and his wife parent their young family, and admitted he doesn't like to argue with Luisana in front of their children.
"It depends," the singer explained to Us Weekly when asked whether he ever disagrees with the Argentina native.
"This is a big question because if you’re talking about undermining my wife in front of my children, if certain death is something that I’m looking for, then yes. Say yes.
"When your wife says no, if you want to live and not go through divorce, no matter what your wife says, try to walk into the other room and say, ‘Honey, what the hell are you talking about? I absolutely disagree with this.’"
