A motorcyclist has died after 'losing control' of his bike on a motorway slip road.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash at junction 18 of the M62 yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), where the road merges into the M60. Officers found that the rider of a Yamaha motorbike had lost control as he drove onto the eastbound slip road of the M62, police said.
The rider - a man aged in his 60s - was rushed to hospital from the scene. He was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
