A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon (January 11) following reports of another stabbing on the streets of Greater Manchester.
The 21-year-old victim sustained wounds that are described as serious but are not thought to be life-threatening. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, that occurred at around 2pm in the Heys Road area of Prestwich.
No arrests have been made, but enquiries remain ongoing into the attack, with police still hunting for those responsible. Anyone with any information is being urged to contact Greater Manchester Police immediately.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 2pm on 11 January 2023, officers were called to reports of a stabbing in the Heys Road area, Prestwich.
"Officers attended the scene, and a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital receiving medical treatment. No arrests have been made at this time.
