Frank Lampard is refusing to get involved in any speculation linking Mauricio Pochettino to Chelsea.
As football.london reported on Tuesday morning, Chelsea held crucial talks with Pochettino on Monday evening with the 51-year-old now increasingly likely to be named as the club's new permanent head coach. However, it's understood Pochettino won't take charge of the Blues until the summer.
Lampard, who is interim charge of Chelsea until the end of the season, is preparing his squad for the trip of Brentford on Wednesday evening, but his pre-match press conference was inevitably dominated by questions regarding Pochettino. The interim Blues boss didn't have too much to add on the matter, as he refused to be drawn on speculation.
