Breaking Bad star Dean Norris surprises diners at Leeds restaurant after taking a break from filming a movie with Oprah Winfrey

Diners in Leeds were starstruck when a Breaking Bad star popped into Mowgli for a meal.

American TV star Dean Norris, who played DEA agent Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, posed for photos with fans. The social media team at Mowgli, based in Leeds city centre, made their followers aware of the star’s visit.

They posted: “Hank from Breaking Bad was in Mowgli Leeds this week. Oh. My. Life. I needed to know he was really alive and kicking.”

Dean is in Yorkshire filming scenes in Little Germany, in Bradford, for new Netflix production Six Triple Eight. Earlier this week, our sister publication Yorkshire Live brought you a sneak peek of filming in Bradford.

The film will star Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Washington and Susan Sarandon. The new production will be set during the height of the Second World War.
