Arsenal have discovered the start of their route to reach the Europa League final in Budapest next May. The Gunners have been drawn in Group A alongside PSV Eindhoven, FK Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich.
Mikel Arteta's side were in Pot 1 so could not be drawn against AS Roma, Lazio, Braga, Olympiacos, Red Star Belgrade and Dynamo Kyiv in addition to Premier League side Manchester United in the draw. Still, the prospect of some difficult ties awaited with the likes of Feyenoord, Monaco and Real Sociedad all in Pot 2.
During the 2020/21 campaign, the north Londoners were drawn with Dundalk, Molde and Rapid Wien - winning all six of their group stage matches before losing to eventual winners Villarreal in the semi-finals. Arsenal will be hoping to go the whole way this time around, with the winner qualifying for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League, a competition they have not played in since 2016.
