Arsenal striker Tyreece John-Jules has signed for League One outfit Sheffield Wednesday on-loan until the end of the season.
The young forward - a graduate of the Arsenal academy - had previously been in the second-tier with Blackpool, only to see his temporary stint at Bloomfield Road cut short having failed to make much of an impression.
He made just 12 appearances for the Tangerines in all competitions, his last coming in a 2-1 loss against Nottingham Forest back in October, and failed to find the back of the net.
Instead of returning to Hale End, however, he has been sent out on another loan deal with a switch to Hillsborough having been confirmed.
John-Jules now joins an Owls side who are battling to take back their place in the Championship at the first time of asking having been relegated on the final day of last season.
Darren Moore has Wednesday sitting eighth in League One at the time of writing, with only Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic having lost fewer matches than the Yorkshire outfit's six.
John-Jules, 20, will also be hoping to pick up where he left off in League One the last time he was handed an opportunity in the third tier.
He joined Doncaster Rovers during the 2020/21 season, scoring five goals and notching three assists in 18 appearances in the league.
The decision to loan the youngster out comes as it looks like Arsenal have been handed more frustration in their search for a new striker, with reports suggesting that Dusan Vlahovic is set to move to Juventus.
