Brazilian wonderkid Endrick has named Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as someone he looks up to in football.
The 16-year-old Palmeiras centre-forward has caught the eye of some of European football's biggest clubs thanks to his form in South America. So far this campaign, the teenager has managed to move up the ranks at the Serie A club scoring 9 goals in 14 matches for the senior team.
Chelsea, PSG and Real Madrid are all thought to be interested in the striker but many more are no doubt watching his progress from afar intently. In a recent interview with TV Gazeta, Endrick was asked about where he wishes to play in the future and to name his football idols, at which point the centre forward had no hesitation naming the City star.

"There's the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1... I play video games a lot, I make a career out of playing," he explained. "I watch all the leagues, I play in all the leagues, practically. I see myself playing in any league.
"My dream is to play in Europe, but what I want is to be playing. I'm focused on Palmeiras and I don't care where I'll be playing in the future.
"Currently, Haaland is a new guy that I look up to, who was almost from my generation. But, of course, there is also Ronaldo."
While City are not currently linked, the Blues are no stranger to signing players from South America to improve their squad. In the summer, Julian Alvarez arrived from River Plate and has settled in well at the Etihad Stadium.
