Brazilian Real Strength Supports Coffee Prices

July arabica coffee (KCN26) today is up +9.80 (+3.43%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN26) is up +51 (+1.5%).

Coffee prices are sharply higher today, with arabica climbing to a 1-week high.   Strength in the Brazilian real is supporting coffee prices, as the real (^USDBRL) today surged to a 2.25-year high against the dollar.   The stronger real discourages export sales from Brazil's coffee farmers.
