Brazilian police search the home of former President Bolsonaro for weapons but find nothing

Brazil’s federal police on Wednesday searched the home of convicted former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro for weapons and ammunition, but found nothing, a lawyer for Bolsonaro said on X.

Bolsonaro is currently under house arrest in the capital Brasilia, where he is serving a 27-year sentence for attempting a coup after his 2022 electoral defeat to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
