Carlo Ancelotti believes his Brazil team are full of confidence ahead of their World Cup crunch with Scotland after hitting Panama for six in their home send-off.
Steve Clarke's side face the Brazilians in Miami in what will be the last game of the group stages later this month.
And they enjoyed an impressive final home friendly when 72,000 fans crammed into the Maracana to see them pummel Panama 6-2.
Now their legendary Italian boss Ancelotti is relishing the tournament, where they face Morocco in the opening game.
He said: "It was a beautiful night, we have to thank the fans for the atmosphere they created.
"For us, it was a tremendous injection of confidence.
"I know perfectly well that we have started to prepare well, with a good attitude and commitment.
"We will continue to work on being strong and resilient every day.
"The performance in the second half was important for the team, for the players who came on, who showed quality and showed that they can compete for a place with everyone in the squad.
"But we have to keep in mind that the opponent dropped the pace in the second half, had less intensity and that offered us more opportunity to show our quality.
"There were moments in the first half though that we have to improve."
