The Braves are looking to finish off what would be a very impressive four-game sweep of the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Sunday and they have one of their best pitchers on the mound, Charlie Morton, leading the way.
The 39-year-old right-hander still has some really filthy stuff in his repertoire. That was on full display in the second inning when he got Dodgers DH David Peralta to swing at a curveball that was easily one of the coolest curveballs thrown this year by anyone in Major League Baseball.
Oh, and it was nowhere near the strike zone.
Check out this filth from Morton:

The movement on that thing was just so silly.
We’ll have to wait and see if the Braves can get the sweep but either way, they’ve shown this weekend that they are absolutely the best team in baseball.
