'Braverman is giving Conservatives concerns and she's injecting poison into politics'

Judge a Tory by the company they choose to incite and you will see that Suella Braverman is deliberately inflaming racism.

It isn’t only white “woke” liberal Labour types pointing the finger at this woman of colour who is herself a victim of prejudice.

Tory Sayeeda Warsi, who was Britain’s first Cabinet minister of South Asian heritage, branded Braverman “unfit” to be Home Secretary for “emboldening racists”.

One ex-minister from Boris Johnson’s government reportedly called Braverman a “real racist bigot”, saying the Tories’ “reputation on discrimination has dropped to a new low”.

Tory concerns about Braverman have solidified over the Essex pub racist gollies case.

These were no innocent dolls. Numerous offensive photos emerged, including one of them hanging with a caption saying it’s what used to happen to Black people in Mississippi.

The landlord, who ironically seems to live much of the year in Turkey, was pictured in the shirt of the Far Right racist Britain First group. His wife insisted he wasn’t a supporter, setting alarm bells ringing.

Many decent Tories are horrified Braverman jumped to criticise Essex police for removing the gollies after a complaint, before returning them.

If it was Braverman’s first offence, the allegations against her might be harsh. It wasn’t. She has form. Her small boats “invasion” rhetoric and singling out British-Pakistani grooming gangs when Home Office research shows most rape groups are white men shows a pattern of bias.

Chronically incompetent and appearing more interested in stoking discord than tackling problems –Rwanda a foul £140millon PR exercise – she demeans a high office of state.

Braverman injecting poison into politics in the hope of dividing to rule is truly desperate politics.

It is another reason most of Keir Starmer’s Shadow Ministers and MPs think it was a grotesque error to roll in the gutter with the likes of her by falsely accusing Rishi Sunak of not wanting child sex offenders jailed.

Smarter Labour recognises punchy is good, lying is bad. Ultimately, Braverman will damage the Tories because our country is better than this reactionary dud.
