Brave mum gets her kids to safety and returns to Ukraine alone to save dogs

As many Ukrainians flee their homeland in search for safety, one brave woman has been risking her life to save the helpless dogs left behind.

Marina Dilly, of Shelter Friend Ukraine, has been working tirelessly to rescue animals who have been roaming the streets in search of food and shelter as Russian bombs drop around them.

Working alongside a dedicated team, she sent her children off to Poland to continue her work at her shelter in Dnipro, which is situated in the middle of all the invaded cities.
