A mum who left her abusive ex-husband following the tragic death of her 23-year-old daughter has spoken of the horrors she suffered at his hands.
Sharon McCallion, from Dumbarton, went through decades of abuse by Bruce Summers and has now bravely opened up about what she experienced.
The 45-year-old experienced domestic violence for more than a decade but has now spoken out as she urges other women not to suffer in silence. It comes as her ex-husband appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court where he was sentenced for his violent crimes.
