Branston Pickle is celebrating its 100th anniversary and to mark the occasion it is launching a luxury version of the traditional favourite. Braviar contains Branston's usual tang and sweetness, but is made into pearls that resemble the appearance of high-end caviar.
Packaged in an exclusive tin to commemorate Branston’s 100th year, Braviar can be enjoyed as a swanky spin on the iconic cheese and pickle combo, or paired with the classic blinis and bubbles. And for vegan Branston lovers, there’s no actual caviar in the Braviar recipe, so the exclusive new product can be enjoyed by all pickle fans across the country.
Angharad Wilson Dyer Gough, senior brand manager at Branston, said: said: “For our 100th birthday we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion and pay tribute to Branston’s iconic status as one of Britain's best loved condiments in a unique and unexpected way. We took our iconic taste and created a product that is the epitome of luxury and celebration, offering our fans the chance to experience this unique creation at home and celebrate our 100 years with us.”
Named after the small village near Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, the first batch of Branston hit the shelves in 1922 and has been a staple ever since. Branston is giving pickle fans the chance to try the limited-edition Braviar for themselves by sending in their most unusual Branston pairings to the product's social media channels.
A lucky handful of pickle fans will then receive the exclusive Braviar product, complete with Branston branded caviar spoons.
