Over the last several years, an increasing number of people have come to believe LeBron James is perhaps the greatest player in the history of basketball.
Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan still has the support of many people in this debate, but the pendulum has been gradually swinging more in favor of James.
There may be a perceived generational split in this debate, as baby boomers and members of Generation X seem to favor Jordan, while millennials and Gen Z are more partial to James.
Brandon Miller, one of the top prospects in the 2023 NBA draft, was asked a question about Jordan, and he said that to him, James isn’t the greatest of all time, which isn’t exactly a controversial statement. But what he said right afterward has had people buzzing (h/t Lakers Daily).
Michael Jordan’s meeting with Brandon Miller was “exciting” says Miller to @BallySports.
“It was exciting to meet him.”
Miller also weighed in on the Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT debate which he doesn’t feel is an old debate.

“My GOAT of basketball is Paul George. I grew up watching up, so it’s never just LeBron.”
One has to question whether Miller really thinks George is a better player than James, or if what he meant to say is simply that George is his favorite player.
