Brandon Miller Attempts to Explain Guarding Wembanyama: ‘He’s Like an Animal’

Brandon Miller Victor Wembanyama Paul George Spurs NBA

Victor Wembanyama was one of the most hyped-up draft picks of all time. Before ever stepping foot on an NBA floor, LeBron James went as far as to call him an “alien” as his legend grew. He was selected with the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NBA draft by the Spurs and players have finally been able to experience his freakish skill set firsthand.

Brandon Miller, selected with the No. 2 pick in this year’s draft by the Hornets, tried to explain what the French phenom is like on the hardwood while talking to Clippers star Paul George.

PG: "How do you define matching up [with Wemby?]"

Miller: "They kept switching with big men, so I couldn't really explain what this is. Big-to-big switch? But Victor is not a big. He's like an animal. Ain't no position for him." (via Podcast P with Paul George) pic.twitter.com/qQwtGzGivv
