A brand new 'haven' for Greggs lovers has opened its doors in Greater Manchester - and it will be offering favourites at slashed prices.
The outlet store, that opened in Oldham last weekend, will help to tackle food waste by receiving items that haven't sold in other shops at the end of the day to sell on at a discount.
The new shop, on Henshaw Street, will stock menu items including savoury pasties and sweet treats as well as Fairtrade coffee and hot drinks.

The retailer said all the food is made fresh daily and at the end of each day, and that any food that hasn’t been sold is typically removed from shelves. However, the outlet stores will sell the items at a significantly reduced rate which Greggs has said would be welcomed by customers on a 'tight budget'.
A portion of the profit generated from Greggs Outlets is donated to the Greggs Foundation, which is then shared between organisations such as soup kitchens, food banks, and community groups, putting money back into local community organisations that are working to tackle food poverty in areas of greatest need.
Gillian Long, Retail Operations Director for Greggs, said: “We’re pleased to be opening a new Outlet shop in Oldham providing a safe haven for Greggs fans who manage a tight budget.”
The Oldham Outlet shop is open Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 4.30pm, and on Sundays from 9am until 3pm.
