Bradman Baggy Green fetches record price

Donald Bradman Cricket

One of Sir Donald Bradman's Baggy Green caps has sold at auction for a record sum of $460,000.

The auction concluded on Australia Day and the successful bidder has chosen to remain anonymous, after paying the most in history for a Baggy Green worn by 'The Don'.

Lloyds Auctions said the Australian collector intends to have the Baggy Green put on public display in a prominent Australian museum.
