The Chase host Bradley Walsh was once again left with the giggles on Wednesday night's instalment of the award-winning ITV quiz show. The 62-year-old TV presenter was joined by a new set of contestants and chaser Anne Hegerty in the latest episode on July 27.
The four new players were ready to test their knowledge, with hopes of beating The Governess and taking home a cash prize. But during the second round, Brad was left distracted by one of the questions as contestant Liam was just two steps away from banking £5,000.
TV star Brad began to read out the question saying: "In 2017, aerialist Erendira Wallenda set a record by dangling from a helicopter over the Niagara Falls by her what?" but just moments before he got to the end, he burst into laughter and ended up with the giggles. Despite trying to keep his composure, Brad was set off again once he read out the options which were "teeth, thumbs, knicker elastic", the Liverpool Echo reports.
"It just begs the question what for," Bradley said laughing whilst the chaser and contestant picked their answers. He added: "Why? That's a funny old conversation at breakfast, 'guess what I'm going to do today?' 'what?' 'I'm going to dangle myself over Niagara Falls by my teeth'."
It continued when it was revealed that constant Liam had chosen A, teeth, to which Brad laughed and said: "What's wrong with you? How can it be from her teeth, she's dangling from a helicopter. Are you nuts? What on earth made you put teeth?".
Liam then questioned: "Why would you hang by your pants?" adding that it wouldn't be hard to hang from your thumbs. Brad then replied: "Are you off your head? Of course it's going to be thumbs."
When the answer was revealed that it was in fact teeth, Brad couldn't control his laughter and lent over onto the screen in stitches. Anne tried to hold in her laughter, smiling at the presenter. "She's nuts," Brad said of the aerialist.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV and ITV Hub from 5pm.
