This skirt was a perfect fit for Brad Pitt.
The actor shared what inspired the linen skirt he wore to the July 19 Berlin premiere of his new movie “Bullet Train.”
“I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up,” Pitt told Variety at Monday’s premiere in Los Angeles.
Pitt, 58, previously told Sky News that his reason for rocking the skirt was, “The breeze, the breeze!”
The actor wore a loose green suit with yellow-and-red sneakers to Monday’s event.
Nearly two decades ago, Pitt predicted to Vogue that skirts would become a fashion trend among men as he promoted the Greek warrior movie “Troy.”
“Men will be wearing skirts by next summer,” Pitt told the magazine in 2004.
“That’s my prediction and proclamation. The film answers to both genders. We were going for realism and Greeks wore skirts all the time then.”
Pitt stars in the action-comedy “Bullet Train” as an unlucky mercenary whose assignment to recover a briefcase from a zooming locomotive is complicated by other killers onboard.
Joey King, Bad Bunny, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry also star in the film, which arrives Friday in theaters.
