Brad Pitt denies retirement claim as he dons bright suit on red carpet for film premiere

Brad Pitt caught the attention with his choice of outfit on the red carpet for his new film Bullet Train.

The Hollywood star, 58, was present in Los Angeles for the movie's first showing and donned a striking green suit as he posed for pics.

The actor seemed to be loving life as he stopped for photographers and finished off his look with a teal knit top under his lime green coat and wore bright yellow and maroon Adidas trainers.

And when asked by reporters whether the flick is to be his last, he seemed surprised by the line of questioning.

The query came about following a recent interview with GQ in which he discussed being in "this last semester or trimester" of his career.

In the piece, the Academy Award winner is quoted as saying: "I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?"

However, in his latest comments from the red carpet at LA's at Regency Village Theatre, he clarified to Deadline : "No, I mean…I really have to work on my phrasing.

"I was just saying, ‘I’m past middle age and I want to be specific about how I I spend those last things however they may be."

When asked to add more detail on those specifics, he said: "I’ve never been a five year plan kind of guy. I’m just, whatever feels right for the day. I still operate that way."

Brad has recently been jet-setting on a pack world tour for international premieres of the film.

Previously he underwent a three-cities-in-three-days promo tour where he visited Paris, Berlin and London.

The new film, based on the 2010 novel Maria Beetle, sees the Fight Club star as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin who is desperate to complete his job in peace after a number of gigs have proved too eventful.

Of course, that's not exactly possible and his latest mission puts him on a collision course with some of his foes from across the globe on the world’s fastest train as he tries to retrieve a briefcase.

The star-studded cast also features Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Andrew Koji and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
