Boys wear skirts to school after being told they can't wear shorts in heatwave

A group of boys are wearing skirts to school as they make a stand against a "no shorts" policy which they say is unfair during the warm weather.

Temperatures have soared this last week with many getting out the fan and leaving their windows open all night. Male students at two schools asked if they could wear shorts rather than long trousers but were told no.

However, with the school rules stating that skirts or trousers are acceptable, the trio decided to use the loophole to make a point that the rule is unfair - and said that they felt more comfortable in a skirt.
