Boy who fled the Taliban was stabbed to death on London street by gangsters who thought he was someone else

The wife of a man murdered by the Taliban has said she has ‘lost everything’ after her schoolboy son was brutally stabbed to death by gangsters while playing in a London park in a case of tragic mistaken identity.

Vanushan Balakrishnan and Ilyas Suleiman, both 18, stabbed Rishmeet Singh 15 times after chasing him through a park in Southall, west London, on the evening of November 24 2021.
