Boy scribbles combover and brows on baby brother with orange marker - so 'he's not left out'

A cheeky little boy who was so concerned by his baby brother being the only family member without hair that he used an orange marker to scrawl on a pair of eyebrows and locks for his none-the-wiser sibling.

Mum McKenzie Poland, 27, turned her back on the pair sitting on the sofa for just a moment whilst she hoovered but her son Kason, five, decided to play a 'thoughtful' prank on his seven-month-old brother, Jude.

He had grabbed a chalk marker and began drawing a combover on the baby along with two striking eyebrows - turning him into a 'ginger old man' for days.

In hilarious pictures, clueless Jude glares at the camera while chuffed Kason poses next to his artwork. Mum-of-three McKenzie then rushed to grab some soap and wipe off the pen marks only to be forced to leave Jude with the 'orange comb-over' on his head for three days to avoid hurting his soft spot.

McKenzie, from Roy City, in Florida, US, said: "I just started laughing. I was taken off guard.

"He looked like a little old man. The pen was an orange colour so it made him like a little ginger.

"They're actually hair chalk markers and my daughter had gotten them for her birthday.

"I did my son's hair and I was vacuuming. I was literally right there.

"He was playing with his little brother and when I turned around, he was colouring his head.

"I said 'what did you do?' He replied 'he has no hair' - so he coloured in some hair and eyebrows."

McKenzie then swiftly grabbed the family's camera before rushing outside to show the 'little ginger' tot to her husband Jonas, 27, who was in the garden.

She has now vowed never to buy light-coloured furniture in case Kason decides to express his artistic prowess on the sofa instead of his brother.

McKenzie said: "It stained his head a little bit. I didn't want to scrub too hard because of his little soft spot.

"He had some orange residue for a few days. Kason wanted to give Jude some hair.

"I tried to tell him 'we don't do that'. Kason asked if he was in trouble and I said he wasn't as long as he didn't do it again.

"When I showed it to my husband, I walked outside and brought Jude. He started laughing and asked who did it.

"This is the reason we got a navy couch. I'd love a white one but I know better."

She added: "I'm very big on recording everything and I want to make memories."
