A child has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
Emergency services rushed to Rhynie Drive in the Ibrox area after 5pm on Tuesday evening to reports of a boy being struck by a car.
The youngster was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children by ambulance after the incident.
The extent of the child's injuries is not yet known.
Police confirmed they were in attendance at the incident.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 5.25pm on Tuesday, 26 July, police were called to a report of a child struck by a car on Rhynie Drive, Glasgow. Officers attended and the boy has been taken by Ambulance to the Royal Hospital for Children."
