A pal of pop star Boy George says that he will crack at Matt Hancock in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle within days.
DJ Fat Tony, who has been mates with the Culture Club singer since they were 14, told ITV 's Lorraine Kelly that he would give it two or three days before the pop icon needs to "express his feelings".
Things got a little emotional in camp last night when Boy George entered the Bush Telegraph to discussed the Tory MP entering the jungle. He had previously discussed with others the time his mum was in hospital during lockdown - when Matt Hancock was UK health secretary.
Boy George said that if is mum had died during the pandemic, he would have quit the ITV programme as soon as Matt emerged from the bushes.
"The tears they weren't put on for the camera, that's George," said Fat Tony.
He added: "You know that whole period where his mum was ill in the middle of the covid situation, and you know, he's speaking for a nation.
"So many people feel the same. People are finding this hard to watch because of the situation that they went through. Lockdown was really really an awful time for so many people because we were powerless. And George is powerless in there as well.
"He's in a situation with somebody of that magnitude of dislike to a nation. What we saw last night was George being George, those tears were real.
"And knowing George the way I know George, I'll give it two to three days before he has to express his feeling to Matt Hancock."
Tonight on I'm A Celebrity, Matt will take part in his second trial Tentacles of Terror, which will see him locked in a cage filling with water and surrounded by a number of creepie crawlies.
'Im A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2022 continues tonight at 9pm on STV and STV Player.
