Boy George didn't hold back when sharing his thoughts about Matt Hancock on this evening's episode of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The singer, 61, admitted he 'can't stand' Mr Hancock and branded the former health secretary 'slimy' and 'slippery' during a revealing conversation with campmate Seann Walsh.
When Mr Hancock joined the conversation, Boy George told the MP for West Suffolk to his face how he has been 'hating on' him and is struggling to view him as both a human being and a politician.
During tonight's update from the jungle, viewers watched as the hungry celebrity campers missed out on winning some chocolate thanks to Mr Hancock badly advising Babatunde Aleshe throughout the daily Deals On Wheels challenge.
After the MP admitted he felt bad for giving the wrong answer, Boy George joked they should have a chocolate revolution and told Mr Hancock: "You're supposed to be our leader."
He added: "The face on it!"
Later at the creek, Boy George told Seann: "Can’t stand Matt. I have tried to like him and I’ve failed. I find him slimy, I find him slippery. I find him just… I made a joke about chocolate. He just looked at me like… I wanted to say, ‘What are you looking at? Don’t you look at me like that.'"
He continued to admit: "I’ve tried to separate what I feel about him from who he is as a person, but I can’t."
Mr Hancock then appeared and joined the conversation, as Boy George told him: "I was making a joke about the chocolate. For god’s sake I was like… let’s have a bit of fun. I didn’t like the way you looked at me. I made a joke and you were like…"
Mr Hancock replied: "Oh no, I wasn’t… that wasn’t my intention."
Boy George said: "That’s what it felt like."
Relying to the singer, Mr Hancock said: "Ok, I’m really sorry about that. That wasn’t my intention at all."
Boy George hit back with: "You do it a lot actually."
Mr Hancock then tried to apologise again, saying: "I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable."
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Boy George went on to say: "He’s probably going to be quite upset and I was kicking off a bit and I just thought, you know what, just tell him to his face what you feel."
The singer later told Mr Hancock: "I just feel everyone’s trying to be too nice. It’s getting on my t*ts. I don’t want arguments… I’m just like come on guys, have a laugh."
He added: "I’ll be honest with you, I think your presence has made everyone very compliant."
"Compliant, it’s a funny word," Mr Hancock replied as his campmate made his true feelings known.
Boy George then admitted: "I have been hating on you, I have to be honest. I sometimes feel like you don’t say what you mean and you’re not particularly direct."
Mr Hancock declared: "I’m just being me."
Boy George replied: "OK. Well, I’m just being me."
Following Mr Hancock claiming he is "quite straightforward", Boy George told the MP: "I’m trying to separate you as a human being and you as a politician and I’m struggling with it. We don’t share the same politics."
He added: "I am struggling a little bit with you. That’s not your problem, that’s my problem. I apologise because I was really sl**ging you off a minute ago."
Recalling the confrontation, Boy George said in the Bush Telegraph "It feels like a relief to me. I thought, I don’t want to come out of here and feel like I’ve been dishonest. I had to be truthful."
