Boy arrested in relation to vicious assault of Dublin teenager Alanna Quinn Idris

A boy has been arrested in connection with the horrific assault of a teenage girl in Ballyfermot.

Alanna Quinn Idris, 17, and her friend were attacked close to the Civic Offices, Ballyfermot Road on December 30.

Gardai arrested a male juvenile on Wednesday morning as part of investigations into the incident.
