Boy, 7, seriously injured after dog 'tries to tear him apart' as he plays in pal's garden

A seven-year-old boy was left in need of plastic surgery after a dog “tried to tear him to bits” in a vicious attack.

Freddie Turner was playing with friends in a garden in Wakefield when was attacked by a dog on the loose, which left him with multiple puncture wounds.

The youngster was rushed to Pinderfields Hospital on Wednesday, April 20, and underwent plastic surgery, Yorkshire Live reports.
