A four-year-old boy was left in tears after an issue with his ticket meant he was not allowed to board a plane to Spain. Jacob Thomas had been due to fly to Spain with his uncle's family to visit his grandmother.
But when the family group got to the airport to fly to Alicante, they were told Jacob couldn't go with them because his Ryanair ticket was not linked to the rest of the group.
Jacob's uncle, Ben, was due to fly to the Spanish resort with his wife and daughter on July 28 when his brother Justin Thomas decided to let them take his son Jacob with them. They spent £400 on the boy's holiday and the family say they were told to book him a separate flight, which would then be linked to theirs, the Liverpool Echo reports.
