A four-year-old boy who couldn't wait to see his nan in Spain was turned away at the airport because of a ticket issue.
Jacob Thomas was due to fly from Liverpool to Alicante with his uncle's family and "holding hands and laughing" with his cousin as the group arrived at John Lennon Airport.
But the boy was left in "tears" when the family were told he couldn't join them on the flight as his Ryanair ticket wasn't linked to theirs, the Liverpool Echo reports.
