Boy, 17, arrested on suspicion of the murder of Tyron Riley in Salford

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder by detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of devoted dad Tyron Riley, it was revealed today.

Mr Riley, 31, a builder by trade known to friends and family as Taz, was found dead shortly after midnight on December 27 in Clarendon Park, Salford. Police said he suffered serious injuries 'consistent with a stab wound' and was pronounced dead at the scene, resulting in the launch of a murder investigation.

His devastated family went on to pay tribute to 'much-loved son, dad, grandson and brother'. They said they would miss his 'huge cheeky smile' and 'great sense of humour', adding he was a 'super-talented builder' who would be 'missed deeply'.
