Boy, 16, fighting for life after Brixton stabbing

A teenage boy is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed repeatedly in south London.

The 16-year-old was found suffering multiple knife wounds in St Matthew’s Road, Brixton at 7.40pm on Monday.

Paramedics found the teenager close to Lambeth civic centre. He was taken to a south London hospital.

Scotland Yard described his condition as “critical but stable” on Wednesday.

The force added enquiries are ongoing and a crime scene remains in place along parts of a nearby housing estate.

No arrests have been made so far.
