Detectives have arrested a boy aged 16, another teenager and a woman over a double shooting in an east London cul-de-sac.
Officers and paramedics were scrambled to Thorne Close, in a residential area off Rogers Road, in Canning Town shortly after 2am on October 26.
They arrived to find two men, aged 25 and 27, with gunshot injuries.
In the early hours of Wednesday, firearms officers supporting the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command executed warrants at addresses across east London and Essex.
Two males, aged 16 and 18, and a 27-year-old woman were detained on suspicion of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The trio have been taken into police custody where they remain.
Detective Inspector David Hickford said: “These arrests mark a significant point in our investigation to establish exactly what happened, and why, on October 26.
“Two men sustained injuries as a result of being shot and it is vital that we hear from anyone who was in the area that night, and who is yet to speak with officers.
“I would also ask that you check any dash cam footage to see if you captured the shooting.”
The victims were both taken to hospital, received medical treatment before being discharged.
