Boy, 14, shot dead in London as police arrest three teens

  • A 14-year-old boy was shot dead in Woolwich, south-east London, on Thursday afternoon.
  • Police were called to Lord Warwick Street at approximately 3.40pm following reports of a shooting.
  • Three teenagers, including two boys aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
  • The Metropolitan Police confirmed the victim's age after initially stating he was a man.
  • Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card appealed for witnesses, CCTV, or dashcam footage to assist the ongoing investigation.
