Two teens are in hospital after being pulled from the sea by two girls.
Two boys, aged 12 and 14, are in hospital after it was reported they got into difficulty in the water close to Central Pier in Blackpool shortly before 6pm yesterday (Monday, July 18). The two were pulled from the sea by two teenage girls and were given CPR at the scene by security staff before they were rushed to hospital.
The 14-year-old is currently in Alder Hey where he is in a critical but stable condition and the 12-year-old is at Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he is described as being poorly but not critical. Lancashire Police also confirmed had not been for the efforts from the two girls and security staff, officers would be dealing with "at least one" death.
