A 14-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being hit by a van near a school.
Police are investigating following the incident involving a Renault Traffic van at around 3.45pm yesterday in Swansea, South Wales.
The teenage patient, who is understood to be local to the area was rushed to University Hospital of Wales.
He is in a critical but stable condition.
He was struck near Birchgrove Comprehensive School.
A force spokesman for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police is investigating a road traffic collision involving the driver of a Renault Traffic van and a 14-year-old local boy which happened at around 3.45pm on Tuesday afternoon in Heol Dulais, Birchgrove in Swansea.

“The boy was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he remains in a critical, stable condition.
