A 13-year-old boy, who was born without legs, has won a place on his school's basketball team - and now is their star player.
Josiah Johnson, from Kentucky, US, was offered the chance to play basketball in a wheelchair but turned it down as he claimed it was "too easy."
Instead he decided to try out for the Moore Middle School basketball team in Louisville, Kentucky.
Johnson turned up for trials and as coaches were impressed with his ability, he was accepted onto the team.
His teammates have been left impressed ever since.
A teammate told CBS News: "He started taking the ball from people. He took the ball from me. I was mad.
"You would have thought Steph Curry was in the gym."
His high school coach said Johnson didn't make the team out of "sympathy" but rather on his determination to turn up to trials and giving his absolute all.
The coach said: "'He made the team - we didn't put him on the team for no sympathy reasons or anything like that.
"'He showed up to every trial, he gave it his all. He put himself on the team by making the squad."
Mum Whitney revealed her son took part in gymnastics as a child but basketball was his true love.
She said Johnson had always been confident in his ability and due to his stubbornness he would never give up.
Whitney said: "Josiah is very competitive, and if he feels like something is too easy, he's not going to do it."
The teenager, who is positioned on the ground, is in the perfect position to dribble with the ball, snatch passes and making passes - with many opponents finding him hard to get past.
Johnson admitted fellow basketball players felt bad for him but he wanted to prove people wrong and have the same opportunity as everyone else.
He told Jefferson County Public Schools: "People feel bad for me playing basketball. I want to show them that you ain't got to feel bad for me. I want to play on an equal level with you."
Johnson showed his worth to his basketball team just last week after he snatched the ball from outside the three-point line and scored in the dying seconds.
The dramatic moment was captured on camera as his teammates went over to celebrate with him.
One teammate revealed: "It was just a moment that I'm going to remember forever."
Johnson hope his story will inspire others to never give up and to follow their passion.
Asked if he had any advice for aspiring athletes he said: "To do something that they thought they couldn't do."
