Monster 80-million-year-old fossil found by boy, 12, who plans to display it at Kansas county fair

A 12-year-old Kansas boy made a prehistoric discovery during a recent trip with his 4H club when he uncovered an 80-million-year-old marine fossil buried underground.

Corbin Bullard of Clearwater, found the fossil in September, when he was 11, while visiting Jewell County with the Sedgwick County 4-H Geology Club. The youth program teaches kids ages 7 to 19 about earth science, rocks and fossils through hands-on activities.
