A heartbroken mum says her son had to have his finger amputated after fleeing from what she says were ' racist bullies'.

Raheem Bailey, 11, caught his hand on a fence as he tried to run away after an exchange at his school, WalesOnline report.

Doctors were not able to save the finger after he caught it on railings while trying to escape after an alleged attack at Abertillery Learning Community school in Wales.
