Boxing gets IOC nod for inclusion at 2028 Los Angeles Olympics

Three days after World Boxing received recognition from the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Executive Board, the sport's inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics was confirmed following a unanimous vote by the IOC members on Thursday.

The only time boxing wasn't part of the Olympics since 1904 was when it was removed from the roster due to Swedish legal restrictions at Stockholm 1912.
