Jake Paul has been mocked by boxing fans for returning to his YouTube career ahead of his fight against Nate Diaz.
Content creator Paul, 25, crossed over to YouTube after soaring to fame on the now-defunct social media platform Vine. The former Disney star stopped regularly uploading to his YouTube channel with over 20million subscribers in the lead-up to his fight against Ben Askren in April 2021.
After knocking out former UFC star Askren in one round, Paul opted to only use his YouTube channel to promote his upcoming fights. 'The Problem Child' has now returned to a weekly upload schedule on the platform just months way from his fight against Diaz on August 5. Fans have now laughed at Paul for going back to his roots after suffering his first professional loss to Love Island star Tommy Fury in February.

"Tommy punched this man back to YouTube," one user wrote as another agreed: "Tommy really sent bro back to YouTube". A third user wrote: "He lost if clout in boxing now going back to YouTube" with a fourth adding: "He's been dissing YouTube, we don't want him back." A final comment read: "Failed boxer now returning to YouTube because his fighting career is over."
Paul's YouTube return does come as a surprise after he mocked bitter rival KSI for continuing to upload videos to the platform. Having just moved into a new $16million house in Puerto Rico, 'The Problem Child' has big plans for his new schedule on YouTube as he wants to give fans an insight to his daily life.
"I have some exciting news for you guys, finally I feel inspired again to make YouTube videos," Paul said in his recent upload. "I've missed you guys, people have said 'Jake when are you going to start YouTube again' and now it is finally time. We have this beautiful home to film inside of so you can expect uploads on Wednesday's every single week."
"I'm living here with some of my best friends and Logan [Paul] is just down the street. We are going to be taking you inside of my new life. Training for fights, all the fun and chaos that goes inside of everything that we do. Building businesses, showing you our life here in Puerto Rico and what we do here on a daily basis."
