Bowring Park and Golf Course promote Mental Health Awareness Week

Bowring Park and Golf Course have organised a range of free activities aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing amongst its residents for Mental Health Awareness Week.

Throughout the week, members of the Knowsley community have been treated to yoga classes, free golf sessions on selected days, fitness classes for mothers with babies and pregnant women, gardening classes and digital check-ins. Over the weekend, there were wellbeing walks and Mamafit classes on Friday, Disc Golf and free golf sessions on Saturday and a dog photography event on Sunday, where dog walkers will receive a free professional portrait photo of their beloved pets.

These activities, which are designed to be accessible and appealing regardless of interest or preference, have been well-received by the community and Helen Paton, Development Manager at Bowring Park, is delighted with how well the week has gone so far.
