Seel Street hotel The Resident has been ranked the number one hotel in Liverpool based on reviews on Tripadvisor.
The boutique hotel comes top out of 114 traveller ranked hotels in the city on the site, with over 4,000 users rating it as 'excellent'. Housed within a former warehouse dating back to the 1800s, The Resident aims to provide guests with a stylish base to explore the city from.

The Resident strives to give each guest a personalised service, with the front desk team on hand to recommend places to visit in the city. Each room features a built-in mini-kitchen complete with fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery and Nespresso coffee machine. The fridge can be stocked with groceries as per the customer's request, as long as they are available at the local supermarket.
The hotel received an average customer rating of 4.5 out of 5 on Tripadvisor, as well as achieving full marks for location, cleanliness and service. The Resident's guests can also enjoy exclusive discounts at some of the city's best bars and restaurants, which are just a short walk away from the hotel.
Tripadvisor user kimmydun1961 described The Resident as "a very well placed location to explore Liverpool", whilst Rosiewal wrote: "The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are clean and comfortable."
Georgia left a five-star review and commented: "the location was perfect right in the middle of the night life but still didn’t hear any noise from nearby bars and clubs." Paigeelise05 said: "Staff were super friendly and advised us on areas to visit in surrounding as well as the discounts offered in certain places for food just by showing your room card. Such a good location, centre of nightlife and plenty of attractions to see surrounding The Resident."
